First Post-lah

my school

hello all!

So thus marks my first post on my new journal. I suppose it was time to retire my old one seeing how I’ve had it since my junior year in highschool and seeing how i’m in graduate school now… it simply was time to move on. This post also signifies another thing…*drumroll*

I’ve made it safely to singapore! For those of you who don’t know i’m actually doing my MFA in singapore at a little school called Tisch Asia from NYU… ok so it’s not really little and yes NYU does mean New York University…not Nanyang University. If you’re confused now…cause i’m sure you are as is everyone who i’ve told about this program is… you can go here it kind of explains things.

So maybe you’re asking why? Why Jerry? why go half way across the world to go to film school when you could’ve just gone half way across the country?! well the simple answer would be cause they accepted me…and it’s TISCH! It’s been my dream school since i’ve decided to do film… haha but if you really want to know the LONG list of reasons feel free to ask and i’ll shoot you an email. The jist of it is that I know God has been working in my life and been preparing and veering me in this direction to expand His Kingom and ministry. 

So i’ll keep this post a bit short…if you look above It’s a picture of my school. My friend Andy says it looks like a gundam factory and we may very well be making Gundams in there… movies about Gundams that…roam in film schools on tiny little islands… wow it’s a surprise on how i got this far with ideas like that. ok well more detailed updates on my situation later on… cause at this moment i’m not using my computer since it’s having trouble connecting to wireless… so please everyone drop me a line cause I really do miss everyone=( so i guess this is the beginning of something-lah!
